25.05.2005: Informations on EU-Directive 2002/95/EG

From July 1, 2006, compliance is called for with the specifications of EU Directive 2002/95/EC (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). It prohibits putting electrical and electronic instruments and devices into circulation that contain lead, cadmium, chromium (VI), mercury or flame protection agents containing PBB/PBDE.

We are a company that believes in ecological heath protection. That's why we introduced internal guidelines at an early stage to change over to environmentally friendly materials that are not harmful to health. From June 1, 2005, we have been capable of manufacturing and supplying products and subassemblies that meet the specifications of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive.

All products and subassemblies satisfying the requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive will have a special stamp, sticker or other sign of conformity on the delivery note.

If you have any questions on this, please do not hesitate to get in contact with Ms. Uhlemann under +49+37208+889-900 or Mr. Rau under +49+37208+2127.
