Arnold Elektronik GmbH can look back on a 70-year business history.What began in a backyard of behind the house of the founder Arthur Arzt went through a period of rapid development particularly after the reunification of the two Germanys. The product range of the family enterprice, which is based in the Lichtenau Business Park, Gottfried-Schenker-Straße 14, is wellknown throughout Germany and the company enjoys a good reputation as reliable partners.“We produce mainly inductive components such as coils, choking coils, transformers, tailer readymade cables and cable sets, using state-of-the-art automatic machinery individual stranded wire of every kind and size – everything tailor made the customer wants”, said Marion Arnold-Sittig, chief executive officer, describing briefly the range of products provided by the family- company.

The company from Saxony features two areas of strength – on the one hand, it can handle the very smallest of series, and on the other hand, is enormously flexible, ensuring all deliveries are carried out promptly. The 44-year-old boss promises her customers, “We can undertake the complete range – development, planning, design and production – all within our own company“. Likewise, the workforce of 33 and 3 trainees in the company can naturally implement designs developed by its customers. It need hardly be mentioned that the whole range of products is subjected to extensive quality tests. Another advantage is the company’s own fleet of vehicles which allows immediate delivery of the products. Ever open to innovations,Marion Arnold-Sittig’s team has currently aroused great interest among customers with a wire system called “Tex-E”which has been specially developed for the space industry. “The wire has triple insulation”, explained the head of the Engineering Department Hainer Rau and added, “This dispenses with insulation between the primary and secondary winding – an innovation which not only saves costs, time and material but means the overall size of the component is smaller”. “Many of our customers are totally thrilled by this product”, assured the CEO.
